For small businesses
Working with us as a small business: one process, a fixed price, paid back fast
In a small business, the person who approves the project is usually the person whose time it saves. So we keep the engagement small and fixed-price, and start with the one job that costs you the most hours.
The people
Who is involved, on both sides
On your side
The owner or manager who approves the work, and the person who actually does the task today. We need twenty minutes with them early on, because they know where the process really breaks.
On ours
One person who scopes the work, builds or leads the build, and supports it afterwards. No hand-offs between a salesperson, a project manager and a developer you never meet.
Decisions
How decisions get made: one process at a time
Small-business projects stall when they try to fix everything at once. We pick one process, agree in writing what “working” means (for example, every website enquiry answered within five minutes), and build only that.
You approve the scope and the fixed price before anything starts, and the finished result before the final invoice. In between, you get a short written update each week and a demo before anything goes near a customer.
Contract and payment
The shape of the deal
- Package
- Most small-business projects are Starter ($500–$1,500). Two or three connected processes move into Growth.
- Payment
- Starter projects are paid 50% upfront, 50% on delivery.
- Running costs
- Tools like Zapier or AI usage are billed to your own accounts. We estimate the monthly cost before you commit, at your real volume, not the free tier.
- After launch
- 14 days of free support on Starter, then an optional maintenance plan from $300/month. No obligation to take one.
These are plain-English summaries. Your signed contract governs, and all terms are confirmed in writing for each project.
Honest risks
What usually goes wrong, and what we do about it
These are the failures we plan for, each paired with the thing we do to stop it happening.
Automating a process that hasn’t settled yet.
If the process changes every week, we tell you to wait, or we automate only the part that is stable.
Subscription costs creep up.
Tools are chosen by what they will cost at your actual volume, and the estimate is written into the proposal.
Nobody knows how to change it.
Every workflow comes with a short video walkthrough, so small changes don’t need us.
It breaks quietly and nobody notices.
Every automation alerts a named person when a step fails, with the details needed to fix it.
The first 30 days
What happens after you say yes
The first month runs to a fixed shape: here is each stage, and what you get at the end of it.
Week 1
Map the task
A call with you and the person who does the task today. We map it step by step and agree what “working” means.
Weeks 1–2
Build and test
Built in your own accounts and tested with real examples, without touching live customers.
Week 2
Go live
Often alongside the manual process for a few days, so nothing is missed while you gain confidence.
Day 30
Check-in
Hours saved, anything to adjust, and whether the next process is worth automating.
Where to go next
Automate
Which work to automate first, and what “done” looks like.
Workflow automation
Before-and-after of an automated lead workflow.
Starter package
$500–$1,500.
